The SASF invites string teachers and researchers of all phases, performers, specialists, and researchers to submit proposals for presentations in the following formats:

Presentations

  • Paper presentation
    (12-20 min)
  • Lecture demonstration/recital
    (20-30 min)
  • Workshop
    (40-50 min)
  • Roundtable discussions
    (SASF team decides the time frame)

Topics

All topics related to the convention theme and/or aspects of Southern African orchestral, indigenous, jazz, and contemporary plucked and bowed stringed instruments are welcome.
